Flashback: The class was playing some kind of vocab game. It consisted of two people standing at the back of the class with fly-swatters, the teacher gave them a word and they had to run to the board and smack the right picture. So it was his turn against one of the smallest girls in the class. The teacher shouted the word and charged across the room like a stampede of rambunctious rhinos. He made it to the board and went insane on all the pictures. He threw them across the room shouting and sat down without a sound. The whole class just sat there in silence. How do you respond to that? I’m still trying to figure that out…
Before I tell today’s experience some background might be in order. All of this takes place in my Spanish III high school class. This guy is extremely large and menacing. I sit in the corner of the room with him and two of my best friends. We try not to laugh, but we are usually shocked at least once a day.
This is what gave me the idea of starting this:
He started meowing… and speaking nonsense… for five minutes… and then greeted the class with a Nazi salute.
This is only the tip of the iceberg.
For three months now I’ve started every weekday in my Spanish class. It isn’t too bad except for one thing: that crazy guy next to me. I’m not sure whats wrong with him; all I know is that everyday he does at least one ridiculous, crazy, disturbing, or scary thing. Today I felt the need to share my experiences with the world. So here I am. Enjoy.
